OAC has an amazing team of volunteers who serve in various capacities around Australia, taking the gospel out to those who haven't heard. When you join OAC, you step into the legacy of faithful gospel proclamation that's been happening through this ministry since 1892!
Please take the time to answer all these questions carefully. This is a part of how we make sure that we appoint suitable volunteers to the work. While that might seem a bit fastidious, it's a part of our Christian witness that we meet the legal and ethical requirements for serving as a volunteer but also how we ensure that the volunteers we appoint will reprent Christ, his church, and OAC appropriately.
- As a volunteer, you will be required to undertake some level of screening and training for working with children and vulnerable people. You will also need to hold the relevant working with children check for your state of residence. You will also need to provide the names of two referees who can speak to knowing you and your Christian walk.
- By applying to serve with OAC, you also agree to our Statement of Faith and will be asked to affirm our Volunteer Code of Conduct.
- Persons under 16yo cannot serve as an OAC volunteer, but can apply in anticipation of turning 16. All persons under 18yo will require signed parental permission to serve.
- Persons who are 12-18yo can alternatively serve as a program participant instead of the form below.
